Handling insults for kids

Full hypnosis download Handling insults for kids – in production

Taunting, ribbing and playful insults are all part of childhood, but if a child is too sensitive, or genuinely being verbally bullied (or a combination of the two), then these early experiences can echo painfully into adulthood.

The problems arise when the child who is the ‘taunt target’ starts, on some level, to really believe in the validity of the taunts and to internalize the idea that, for instance, they are inherently inferior to others. Such notions can be very hard to dislodge, no matter how often you tell them that they most certainly are not.

Some mutual taunting can help children develop robustness and resilience, but children need to be:

  • able to deflect it
  • able to remain calm in the face of it
  • able to understand – and feel – that a jibe has more to do with the person doing the taunting than with them.

The new Handling insults for kids hypnosis session uses hypnotic story telling to help children feel stronger, more resourceful and much less affected by the perhaps inevitable childhood insults that are part of the childhood years.

All the best

Kids’ tantrums

Full hypnosis download Tantrums in children – in production

The screaming, the shouting, the stamping, the seemingly endless bellowing – and that’s just what you feel like doing when confronted with a child having a tantrum! But seriously, dealing with childhood tantrums can be hard work and using promises of rewards for stopping and/or threats of punishment doesn’t always help matters. In fact, it can make it worse if your child latches onto the fact that they can manipulate you through their ‘emotional incontinence’.

Children can be just as terrified and baffled by their own emotionality as the people around them (and not just children – adults too can struggle with their emotions!). So helping children help themselves to have fewer (and less intense) emotional outbursts doesn’t just help us have a quieter life with them, it helps your child in all kinds of ways too.

Of course, some emotional outbursts are to be expected in childhood, because ‘emotional intelligence’ needs time, and encouragement, to develop. Never being ‘allowed’ to express any emotion can cause problems in itself. But it’s also true to say that the sooner a child can learn some emotional self management skills the better they’ll be both mentally and socially. And educationally – as the brain can only really effectively absorb new information and skills when it is calm enough to do so.

The latest kids series hypnotic download for hypnosisdownloads.com is Kids’ tantrums

It uses gentle story telling to help guide children to a state of mind in which they don’t suppress their emotion but manage it better and actually become less angry. Because angry and emotional children can all too soon become angry and emotional adults.
